Much grappling with ropes again to mount the new Kestrel box, didn’t want to use the massive 5″ screws provided into our lovely Oak tree.
This Dragonfly was very active on the land yesterday.
Much faffing around with rope today, securing the Barn Owl nesting box in an old oak tree without damaging the tree. Bit late for this year but hopefully some sort of owl will like it.
Turns out the barn at Windrush Tu did not follow the design as approved in the planning permission granted.
